Growing up, people always told me the best place to get rid of a body was the swamps near Shore Road. No one ever looked there, and the stink of low tide covered the stench of decomposing flesh. Also, the crabs, raccoons, coyotes, and other wild life made sure nothing incriminating stuck around too long.

They were right, for the most part. But sometimes dead isn’t dead. Sometimes they come back.
